Meet the Team

  • Director of Advancement

Barry Morehead comes to GospelTree Ministries after 38 years of leadership in both the corporate and the non-profit communities. Barry spent most of those years in banking and finance where he became a senior level executive. During that time, Barry served as President of one of the nation's largest oil and gas factoring companies. He left the corporate world in 2019 in order to devote more time to making a difference in the lives of others.

Since that time, Barry has been the COO and interim CEO of Launch Global, an international mission training organization, which he was instrumental in developing more than 18 years ago. During his time leading ministry, he became keenly aware of the isolation and difficulties that fulltime Kingdom-minded workers such as pastors and missionaries face. This led him to join his close friend, Tim Bennet, in GospelTree Ministries in order to strengthen and encourage Kingdom workers through intentional care and coaching.

For most of his adult life, Barry has been involved in international missions. He developed a passion for Business As Missions and has guest lectured on Business For Transformation at both public and private colleges and universities in America. Along with his family, he has been extensively involved in combating human trafficking in various parts of the world by building businesses that have impact. The work they started continues today.

Barry and Paula have been married for 37 years. They have two adult children and one grandchild. While they enjoy traveling the world together as a family, they also love spending quality time with friends. Barry's life goal is to leave this world a better place for having been in it.
